Ben Allen

Associate

Ben Allen is an attorney dedicated to protecting competition and advancing economic justice through holistic antitrust advocacy. Ben’s practice focuses on antitrust litigation in class actions and individual competitor lawsuits. He also has experience in federal and state government agency advocacy and counseling. Ben has worked across a wide variety of industries, including real estate, aviation, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, payment processing, and electronic gaming. Prior to joining SCL, Ben worked at a large international law firm where he focused on antitrust litigation, government investigations, and client counseling. Following law school, Ben spent a year at the New York Office of the Attorney General in their Antitrust Bureau where he conducted civil investigations and participated in national litigation in the technology space as part of multistate coalitions.

Ben graduated from the UC Berkeley School of Law, where he was an Articles Editor for the Berkeley Journal of International Law and a founding member of the Transfers at Berkeley Law group.  Whie in law school, Ben was a full-time judicial extern with the Honorable Gregory H. Woods of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. Before law school, Ben worked in environmental education and as a research coordinator at the Duke Canine Cognition Center.
