Lindsay R. Maher is an advocate whose practice is guided by a deep commitment to economic justice. Lindsay specializes in antitrust litigation and counseling, with experience in both class action and multi-district litigation.  She represents clients across several industries in cases alleging antitrust violations such as price fixing, group boycotts, tying, bundling, monopolization, and anticompetitive mergers. Before joining SCL, Lindsay was a trial attorney in the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, where she gained experience working on complex antitrust cases and promoting fair competition.

Lindsay graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School, where she served as a managing editor of the Minnesota Law Review, a student attorney in the Indian Child Welfare Act Clinic, and as an executive board member of Minnesota Law Students for Economic Justice. Lindsay also gained valuable experience throughout law school as a law clerk with the Antitrust Division of the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office and legal intern in the Democracy Program at the Brennan Center for Justice. In these roles, she refined her legal research and writing skills and built experience thinking about legal issues from both a practical and policy perspective. Prior to law school, Lindsay formed a strong analytical foundation as a software engineer at multiple large media companies and a non-profit focused on facilitating volunteer opportunities for young people across the U.S.
