Grateful for a Remarkable First Year

One year ago, we took a leap and launched Shinder Cantor Lerner LLP. The idea of building a new law firm from the ground up was both thrilling and challenging, but this past year has proven our conviction that there is a compelling need for a firm exclusively, and fiercely, dedicated to protecting free markets and healthy competition in the global economy.

We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built together. In just 12 months, our firm has doubled in size, and we’ve had the privilege of representing clients across a wide array of industry sectors in matters that have shaped — and will continue to shape — the future of antitrust law.

It’s not lost on us that we picked an interesting time to start a new law firm as headline making lawsuits are reshaping antitrust law, and the American economy, in real time. But we wouldn’t have it any other way. One of the common threads that binds us is our shared values and commitment to fight for the rule of law.

We are also united by our desire to serve as a resource for thoughtful inquiry and discussion around competition policy and the direction of antitrust law in the fast moving 21st century economy. Toward that end, we launched Hub and Spoke, a blog and podcast where we regularly dive into the topics driving the antitrust conversation. Thanks to all of you who are engaging with this content and thinking deeply with us about these issues.

More than anything, we’re grateful — for the fine attorneys and professionals who have chosen to join us, for the clients who entrusted us with their most important matters, for colleagues and co-counsel who collaborated with us, and for friends who cheered us on in these early days.

We’re excited — not only about our future as a firm, but about the opportunity we have to make a meaningful impact in our communities, and the world. We’re just getting started. Thank you for being part of our journey.
