In case you missed it – The Wall Street Journal covered our suit against John Deere on behalf of Chicago contractor Christy Webber & Co., reporting on allegations that Deere locks construction and forestry equipment owners out of repairing their own machines.
The Journal connects the case to Deere’s recent $99 million settlement with farmers over similar practices, noting the potential for relief for thousands of equipment owners. As the Complaint alleges, Deere has “prevented meaningful competition from those construction and forestry equipment owners who otherwise could repair equipment themselves and from independent repair providers.”
